Semi-Open Adoption
Limited contact through ACF. You may receive letters, photos, or holiday updates once to several times a year. No direct contact unless you want it.
Closed Adoption
No contact before or after placement. Your identity remains confidential, but ACF can keep photos and updates on file if you ever decide you want them.

Support at the Hospital
When it’s time to deliver, we’ll be by your side. We’ll help arrange transportation, talk through your hospital plan, and support your wishes—whether that includes time with your baby or involving the adoptive family.
After Birth Decisions
There’s no pressure. You make the final decision after your baby is born. If you choose adoption, your baby goes home directly with the adoptive family, never into foster care. We’ll help you find local support and resources if you decide to parent.
Lifelong Support
ACF is here for you before, during, and after adoption. Our counselors offer emotional support and guidance whenever you need it.
