I am Pregnant and Need Help with Making an Adoption Plan for My Child

If you are pregnant and looking for help exploring your unplanned pregnancy options, ACF Adoptions in Florida can guide you. The most common options are:

  • Parenting your child
  • Placing your child for adoption
  • Putting your child in foster care or relative care
  • Terminating your pregnancy depending on how far along you are

If you plan to place your child for adoption, ACF Adoptions is ready to help you. Our caring and experienced adoption counselors can walk you through the adoption process. We have helped lots of people in your situation. You are never pressured or judged. Talking to us does not obligate you to choose adoption. It is a free and private consultation.

Over the years, the modern adoption process has shifted towards expecting birth mothers by empowering them to create personalized adoption plans for their children. They are free to select the best adoptive family for their child. Adoption is a positive choice. You are making a selfless decision by placing your child with an adoptive parent struggling to grow their family. It is vital for you to be well-informed about the process before giving your baby up for adoption.

ACF Adoptions Can Help!

Once you’ve determined that adoption is the right choice for you and your child, you have another important decision: Do you want to stay in contact with your baby and the adoptive family? But, making an adoption plan can be stressful. This is where the role of our experienced adoption counselors comes into play, who can guide you to make the right kind of plan for you and your baby. ACF Adoptions simplify the entire process for you.

There are three adoption plans available.

  • Open Adoption
  • Semi-Open Adoption
  • Closed Adoption

We have many waiting families who are all screened, pre-approved and anxiously waiting to adopt your baby. You can choose an adoptive family from selected profiles based on your preferences. Depending upon the openness of the adoption plan, a birth mother may meet with the hopeful adoptive family members if required.

In an open adoption plan, you may receive letters and photos from them about your child, communicate by telephone, or even meet them in person.

In a semi-open adoption plan, you may receive pictures and letters of your child from Adoptive Parents through ACF once, twice, or three times a year until the child is 18 years old.

For birthmothers who do not wish to remain connected with their children closed adoption plan will be the best choice. In such cases, ACF will request annual photos and letters for its files, and you are free to request them in the future.
